This sport originated somewhere in the outback, probably with one cowboy betting another that he could ride the back of a one tonne beast longer than his mate. Since then it has turned into a sporting phenomenon that has men driven by a wild desire to ride!

Today, more than 200 Bull Riders in Australia, ride bulls professionally. Watching them is truly amazing. It is with precision and professionalism that these cowboys ride the raging bull sometimes staying on and sometimes being thrown and rolled in the dirt and not always escaping unscathed. It is the adrenalin rush that keeps them coming back.

Mental preparation always plays a huge part in the end result for the riders, both in conquering fear and ensuring that in an eight second duration the cowboy rides the bull to score the points needed to be the winner.
